Is a digital passport photo the same as a printed passport photo?
Not always. A printed requirement may specify physical dimensions in millimetres, while an online application may specify pixels, file format or file size. Check both before submitting.
Should I upload a print sheet to a government portal?
Usually no when the portal asks for one image file. Use the standalone digital photo that matches the portal’s file requirements. A print sheet is intended for printing, not as a substitute for a single upload file.
What DPI should I use for passport photos?
DPI is mainly relevant when converting physical dimensions to pixels or preparing a print layout. The authority’s stated pixel dimensions or physical print dimensions should control the final result.
Can I print a passport photo at home?
